What’s Happening With Mortgage Rates?! Plus a Message from Emily and Ben Price
2024 August News Update
Hello!
Isn’t it wild that we are already in the middle of August? It seems like just yesterday Ben and I were hanging our family’s “Welcome Summer!” Banner on the front porch before the school bus dropped off the kids on that last day of school! The summer break always flies by.
With all of the kids in our communities heading back to school, there is that palpable new-energy excitement in the air. The start of a new school year always tends to bring that bubbly feeling that lets you know new adventures – some predictable and some that will surprise you! – are right around the corner. It’s like turning to the next decided page in your Choose Your Own Adventure Book – for those of us who remember that reference! Ben and I have five kids, in five different schools once again this year, and our oldest two are getting ready to return to college (which, as their Momma, I lovingly remind them that it’s just “a really long field trip!”). I’m sure many of you are in the same boat, juggling different schools, schedules, and launches to a new year – the world is always keeping us on our toes!
For all of our clients, friends, family, and vendor partners, regardless of if you are sending someone back to school this semester, we can all definitely agree that fall is right around the corner. What are some of your favorite traditions, or ways to celebrate, the winding down of summer? We are still hoping to squeeze in a night with the kids at the drive-in (such a nostalgic experience!), and many more porch dinners! I personally think it’s not time for dinner inside till mom has to wrap up in a blanket on the porch :).
Looking forward to seeing many of you in our beautiful communities as we head into September – and of course at the schools, circus gym, dance studios, on the soccer fields, and always the hot yoga studio! And, it goes without saying, on many of the upcoming weekends, you’ll be able to find us at Open House Events across the Greater Louisville Housing Market that we so love to serve!
